EWASA

The e-Waste Association of South Africa (eWASA) is an industry association (NPO) for the growing network of e-waste management companies in South Africa. It is actively engaged in growing responsible e-waste management in the region.

SAEWA

The purpose of the SAEWA is to provide and grow on a Southern African scale a safe, reliable and equitable service delivery footprint for both commercial business clients and individual households. SAEWA members seek to partner with each other to be able to offer prospective SAEWA clients a “one stop shop” solution for e- waste.

USE-IT

USE-IT is a Non-Profit Organisation with registered PBO status with the express aim of diverting waste and creating jobs.

RECLITE

Reclite was formed for the purpose of recycling fluorescent lamps, HID Lamps and other products that contain mercury.

IWMSA

The Institute of Waste Management of Southern Africa (IWMSA) is a multi-disciplinary non-profit association that is committed to supporting professional waste management practices.

SAWIC

The South African Waste Information System (SAWIS) developed by the Department of Environmental Affairs (DEA) in 2005, is a system used by government and industry to capture routine data on the tonnages of waste generated, recycled and disposed of in South Africa on a monthly and annual basis.
